Now I don’t like a mouse in my quiche as much as the next guy… Provided that the next guy isn’t Ron Smith, the self described “sharp and aggressive” author of ‘How to stick up for yourself’. Ron, as a “stirrer and professional grumbler” shows us mere “nervous and retiring” consumers -or as he calls us, “fumbles”- how to defend ourselves against such affronts as “Unpalatable food” and “waiting for the Bill”. Ron Smith, co-author (with Alan Stokes) of 'How to stick up for yourself: A handbook for the militant consumer', published 1982.
